Taste of Greece
Join us for a night of delicious Greek food and music hosted jointly by the GSC and Hellenic Student Association!
We will have authentic Greek food from Desfina's as well as live dancing and music performances this Tuesday 5-7pm. The event is open to all MIT students, free of charge, and funding comes from MIT Graduate Student Council.
Welcome BBQ
The Hellenic Students' Association of MIT would like to invite you to our Greek-Style Welcome BBQ on Friday, September 13th at 4-7pm at the MIT Sailing Pavilion.Come meet the members of the Hellenic Students' Association and learn about the club.
There will be souvlakia, greek salad, tzatziki, and more! This will be a perfect chance to go sailing on one of MIT's sailboats with an MIT student who has a sailing card!

Greek Easter BBQ
The MIT Hellenic Student Association cordially invites you and your friends to celebrate Orthodox Easter the Greek (best) way! Traditional, tasty cuisine will be served: rotisserie lambs, mousaka, sausages, souvlaki, tzatziki, and much more! Did we mention there will be live Greek music and a cash bar (21+ with valid ID)?!

Greek Cooking Class
The MIT Hellenic Student Association is hosting a Greek Cooking Class on Tuesday, April 16 at 5pm (Sidney Pacific, 9th floor kitchen).
Join us in learning how to make traditional greek dishes, including spanakopita, souvlakia, lemon potatoes, greek salad, and baklava. We will have a feast at the end to enjoy all the dishes, so come with an appetite!
This event is co-sponsored by the GSC funding board.
Euro Area Crisis and Cyprus
The Hellenic Student Association of MIT would like to invite you to the first lecture of our speaker series for 2013:
"The Politics of the Euro Area Crisis and Cyprus" by A. Orphanides
Athanasios Orphanides is a Cypriot economist who served as Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus between May 2007 to May 2012 and a member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank between January 2008 and May 2012. He is a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
The talk will take place on Tuesday, April 9 2013 at 6pm in the E51-345 auditorium. Food will also be provided.

Clean Monday Kite-Making
The Hellenic Student Association of MIT presents Clean Monday Kite-Making!
Join us for our celebration of Clean Monday! Come make and fly kites with the members of the Hellenic Student Association of MIT. We'll provide all the materials for making and decorating your own kite. There will also be traditional Greek snacks including spanakopita, olives, lagana, halva, and tzatziki.
The event will take place on Sunday, March 17th from 1-4pm in the Coffeehouse Lounge (3rd floor of the Student Center) and on Kresge Lawn. We'll make our kites in the Coffeehouse lounge and then go outside to Kresge lawn to fly them!
This event is open to the MIT community only.
The entrance fee will be $5. We will be accepting cash only at the door.

Tsiknopempti Celebration
The MIT Hellenic Students Association presents Tsiknopempti!
Join us for our annual celebration of Tsiknopempti! There will be unlimited quality meat (beef, lamb, chicken and other meat delicacies), music, and dancing!
The event will take place on Thursday, March 7th from 9pm-1am at Midwest Grill (1124 Cambridge St, Cambridge, MA 02139).
